ITE - Italtile Limited - Trading Statement for the six months ended 31 December 2011 ITALTILE LIMITED SHARE CODE: ITE ISIN: ZAE000099123 REGISTRATION NUMBER: 1955/000558/06 Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa ("Italtile" or "the Group") TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2011 Italtile is currently finalising its results for the six months ended 31 December 2011. In terms of section 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period will differ by at least 20% from those for the previous corresponding period. Accordingly, shareholders are advised that the Group`s basic earnings per share ("EPS") and headline earnings per share ("HEPS") are expected to be between 20% and 23% higher than the prior comparable period. Whilst trading conditions remained challenging, the Group succeeded in increasing turnover of Group-owned stores and entities by between 20% and 25% and gained market share across the brand portfolio.
