Shareholders are advised that the below announcement is a repeat of the         
announcement released on Sens on Friday, 3 June 2011, and includes the total    
value of each transaction.                                                      
Executive directors have elected to purchase shares in Tongaat Hulett in terms  
of the deferred bonus plan. The transactions were completed on 1 June 2011. The 
shares were purchased on market at a price of R93,35 as follows:
