AFX - African Oxygen Limited - Trading update AFRICAN OXYGEN LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1927/000089/06) JSE code: AFX NSX code: AOX ISIN: ZAE000067120 ("Afrox" or "the company" or "the Group") TRADING UPDATE Afrox`s results for the twelve months ended 31 December 2008 are expected to be released on or about 26 February 2009. In compliance with the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited and in respect of the twelve months ended 31 December 2008, and comparing with the previous fifteen month period ("previous corresponding period"), as a result of the change in the financial year end during 2007, the Group hereby advises shareholders that: - basic earnings per share and headline earnings per share are expected to be between 25% and 35% below those of the previous corresponding period. In respect of the twelve months ended 31 December 2008, and comparing it with the comparable twelve month period of last year ("comparable period"), the Group hereby advises shareholders that: - basic earnings per share and headline earnings per share are expected to be between 5% and 15% below those of the comparable period. Shareholders are advised that the forecast financial information contained in this trading update has neither been reviewed nor reported on by the company`s external auditors.
