"We welcome Dr. Gil Mahlati to our board of directors and wish him a long and prosperous future with us," says Insimbi CEO, Pieter Schutte. Mahlati holds an M.B.Ch.B. from the University of Natal (1981); a Fellow of College of Surgeons of SA from the University of Cape Town (1994) and a Clinical Fellow in liver surgery from King`s College Hospital in London. Currently Mahlati holds a number of other directorships including Chairman of Clicks Direct Medicines, a courier pharmacy in conjunction with Clicks. He is also an executive director on the boards of Vuwa Investments, a private equity fund with Old Mutual, Vuwa Healthcare, and Sephaku Cement. His non-executive directorships include Sephaku Holdings, T-Holdings, Enaleni Pharmaceuticals and Matlosana Medical Healthcare Services.
