Notification of Directors` and PDMRs` shareholdings pursuant to Disclosure and  
Transparency Rule 3.1.4                                                         
The Company has today received notification from the Trustee of the Lonmin      
Employee Benefit Trust that Long Term Incentive Plan awards made on 20 July 2004
under the Shareholder Value Incentive Plan have vested today to the extent of   
66% resulting in the release, sale and retention of shares as detailed below,   
all of which have occurred today.                                               
The sales by Mr Mills and Mr Farmer were to realise sufficient cash proceeds to 
satisfy their liability for income tax on the vesting of the awards and the     
balance of their shares have been retained.
