Destiny Health Forms Marketing Alliance
With AEGON Direct Marketing Services, Inc.
Further to the strategy articulated at our interim results (22 February
2007), whereby we communicated that Destiny Health ("Destiny") would pursue
select growth opportunities in the United States, we are pleased to
announce Destiny have formed a marketing alliance with AEGON Direct
Marketing Services, Inc. (AEGON-DMS), an AEGON company. In terms of this
agreement, Destiny is entitled to market its wellness-based healthcare plan
in the United States using the AEGON-DMS distribution channels, with the
product being underwritten by Stonebridge Life Insurance Company, an AEGON
company. Destiny will initially focus on Illinois, Wisconsin, Colorado and
Michigan, with the option to expand into additional states in due course.
The agreement is effective immediately, and is not expected to have a
material impact on profits in the short-term.
