Trading Statement for the year ended 30 June 2006                               
Bidvest announces that it expects both headline earnings per share and basic    
earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2006 to be between 20% to 25%     
higher than those of the prior year.                                            
These results are based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),  
which were adopted in the current reporting period.                             
This trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by Bidvest"s        
external auditors.  The release of the announcement of the final results for the
year ended 30 June 2006 is expected to be published on or about 4 September     
2006.
