The Company confirms that the application made to the London Stock Exchange and 
the UK Listing Authority on 7 April 2006 was to increase its Block Listing by   
140,065 Ordinary Shares (and not 800,000 as originally notified) in relation to 
The Lonmin Executive Share Option Scheme 1994.                                  
The Company also applied to the London Stock Exchange and the UK Listing        
Authority to exercise options for 659,935 Ordinary Shares in relation to The    
Lonmin Executive Share Option Scheme 1994.                                      
It is anticipated that these shares will be admitted to the official list on or 
shortly after Tuesday 11 April 2006.
