Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMRs")                               
In  accordance  with  DR  3.1.4  R,  Lonmin  Plc  today  received               
notification from the Trustee of the Lonmin Plc Employee  Benefit               
Trust  ("Trust") that an award made on 30 September 2005 to Ricus               
Grimbeek  (PDMR) under the Long Term Incentive Plan and an  award               
made  on the same date by the Company to Alan Keeley (PDMR) under               
the  Stay  &  Prosper Plan were incorrect due  to  administrative               
errors.                                                                         
The  original  reference to awards of 4,500 and 5,400  shares  to               
each  of Ricus Grimbeek and Alan Keeley should have been to 6,572               
and   6,640   shares  respectively.   All  terms  and  conditions               
including the performance conditions remain unchanged.
