on 22 August 2005 from Mr J R B Phillimore, a Director of the Company, that he  
was notified on 19 August 2005 that, pursuant to his participation in the       
Dividend Reinvestment Plan of Lonmin Plc, on 5 August 2005 a cash dividend to   
which he was entitled was invested on his behalf in 266 Ordinary Shares of US$1 
each fully paid in Lonmin Plc, at a price of GBP11.645047 per share.
