CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS                                                
In accordance with Section 3.59 of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa     
Listings Requirements in respect of a change to the Board of Directors,         
Cashbuild shareholders are informed that Mr Werner de Jager (ex PWC), has been  
appointed an executive director of Cashbuild with effect from 1 December 2004   
taking over as Group Financial Director from Mr Craig Daly who will now head up 
the Strategic Planning and Implementation function for the Group.
