RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MEETING OF CEMENTATION PREFERENCE SHAREHOLDERS           
At the general meeting of the Cementation preference shareholders held today,   
Cementation preference shareholders approved the delisting of the Cementation   
preference                                                                      
shares from the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa ("the JSE").               
Cementation preference shareholders are reminded of the following salient dates 
pertaining to the offer by Murray & Roberts Limited to Cementation preference   
shareholders to acquire all or any of their Cementation preference shares ("the 
offer") and to the delisting of the Cementation preference shares:

Last day to trade on the JSE to be eligible to

Closing date of the offer at 12:00 on                       Friday, 15 October
