G Nelson, CA(SA) has been appointed as a Director and Chief Financial Officer of
the Netcare Group with effect from 1 September 2004.  Mr Nelson has served      
various major corporations at Board level over the past 20 years - he was       
previously a Director of Pretoria Portland Cement Company Ltd (subsidiary of    
Barloworld Limited), BMW (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd and Mondi Paper Limited.
