Further to the Cashbuild audited results for the year ended 30 June 2003,       
shareowners are advised that the annual financial statements have been          
dispatched to shareowners today, 22 September 2003 and contain no modifications 
to the audited results which were published on 27 August 2003.                  
The audited results of Cashbuild as referred to above and the annual financial  
statements were audited by Cashbuild"s auditors, PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc.    
Their report is available for inspection at the Company"s registered office.    
Notice of the annual general meeting                                            
Notice is hereby given that the Cashbuild annual general meeting of Cashbuild   
shareowners will be held at the Cashbuild head office, cnr. Aeroton and         
Aerodrome Roads, Aeroton, Johannesburg on 3 November 2003 at 10h00 to transact  
businesses as stated on the notice of the annual general meeting forming part of
the annual financial statements.
