In fulfilment of an obligation imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985,
Lonmin Plc has today received notification from Mr J R B Phillimore, a Director 
of the Company, that he was notified on 3 September 2003 that, pursuant to his  
participation in the Dividend Reinvestment Plan of Lonmin Plc, on 15 August 2003
a cash dividend to which he was entitled was invested on his behalf in 52       
Ordinary Shares of US$1 each fully paid in Lonmin Plc, at a price of GBP9.273   
per share.  This raises his cumulative holding in the Company to 2,636 ordinary 
shares.
