In fulfilment of an obligation imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985,
Lonmin Plc has today received notifications:-                                   
1)   from Mr P J Ledger, a Director of the Company, that on 7 March 2003 the    
Lonmin Plc Employee Share Trust, of which he is a beneficiary, purchased 10,000 
ordinary shares of US$1 each fully paid in Lonmin Plc at a price of 798p per    
share and accordingly he has acquired a non-beneficial interest in those shares 
and                                                                             
2)   from Sir John Craven, a Director of the Company, that he was notified on 7 
March 2003 that, pursuant to his participation in the Dividend Reinvestment Plan
of Lonmin Plc, on 17 February 2003 a cash dividend to which he was entitled was 
invested on his behalf in 1,300 Ordinary Shares of US$1 each fully paid in      
Lonmin Plc, at a price of GBP8.37 per share.
