In fulfilment of an obligation imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985,
Lonmin Plc has received notifications :-                                        
On 2 September 2002 from Mr P J Harper, a Director of the Company, that he was  
notified on 31 August 2002 that, pursuant to his participation in the Dividend  
Reinvestment Plan of Lonmin Plc, on 16 August 2002 a cash dividend to which he  
was entitled was invested on his behalf in 340 Ordinary Shares of $1 each fully 
paid in Lonmin Plc, at a price of GBP8.467300 per share and                     
On 3 September 2002 from Mr J R B Phillimore, a Director of the Company, that he
was notified on 2 September 2002 that, pursuant to his participation in the     
Dividend Reinvestment Plan of Lonmin Plc, on 16 August 2002 a cash dividend to  
which he was entitled was invested on his behalf in 55 Ordinary Shares of $1    
each fully paid in Lonmin Plc, at a price of GBP8.467300 per share.
