EXTENSION OF THE APPOINTMENT OF THE INTERIM CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (MR. RALPH BUDDLE)
With reference to the SENS announcement published on 23 February 2022 and in accordance with
paragraph 3.84(f) of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Listings Requirements (“JSE LR”),
shareholders are hereby notified that Oceana was granted a dispensation for the extension of the
appointment of Mr. Ralph Buddle as the Group’s Interim Chief Financial Officer until 31 January
2023 by the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (“JSE”).
Mr. Buddle has acted in this capacity from 23 February 2022 and he will continue to act on an interim
basis and as an ex-officio Executive Director until 31 January 2023 or until such time that the Board
identifies and appoints a Chief Financial Officer.
The Oceana Board has commenced a comprehensive search and recruitment process, which is well
underway and shareholders will be notified once a permanent Chief Financial Officer has been
identified and appointed.
