In terms of paragraphs 3.63 to 3.65 and 3.92 of the JSE Limited (“JSE”) Listings Requirements,
notice is hereby given that the chief executive officer, a director, prescribed officers and
directors of major subsidiaries of Exxaro exercised awards granted in terms of the Long Term
Incentive Plan Scheme (LTIP Scheme), sold and deferred Exxaro ordinary shares to the
Minimum Shareholding Requirement (MSR) Holding Account, after having received clearance
to do so in terms of paragraph 3.66 of the JSE Listings Requirements.

market sales in terms of the LTIP Schemes
