SURGICAL INNOVATIONS - CONCLUSION OF VOLUNTARY BUSINESS RESCUE

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News Service
(“SENS”) on 12 May 2023, advising shareholders that the board of directors of Surgical Innovations
Proprietary Limited (“Surgical Innovations”), a wholly owned subsidiary within the group, had resolved
to commence with voluntarily business rescue proceedings, as envisaged in terms of Section 129(1) of
the Companies Act (“Business Rescue”).

Shareholders are further referred to the financial results announcement published on SENS on

outstanding disputes have been resolved.

successfully exited Business Rescue and remains confident that Surgical Innovations will continue in
existence as a solvent and commercially viable operation.
