LISTING OF ADDITIONAL NEWGOLD DEBENTURES                                        
NewGold has issued an additional 400,000 debentures following subscriptions in  
respect of approximately 3,920 fine troy ounces of gold bullion at an issue     
price of R80.60 per debenture. The debentures were listed with effect from      
commencement of business today.
