DISCLOSURE OF DISPOSAL OF SECURITIES AND DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY A DIRECTOR
OF A MAJOR SUBSIDIARY OF THE COMPANY

In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act No. 71 of 2008 as amended (“the Act”) and
paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that the
Company has received formal notification in the prescribed form that ERF 1210 Welkom Investments
Proprietary Limited (“Welkom Investments”) has disposed of an interest in the securities of the Company
such that the total interest in the securities of the Company held by Welkom Investments has decreased
from 21,90% to 8.51% of the total issued securities of that class in the share capital of the Company.
As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Act, the Company has filed the required notices with the
Takeover Regulation Panel.

In compliance with paragraphs 3.63 – 3.74 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the following
information is disclosed:
