UPDATE: REGISTRATION OF THE RESOLUTIONS PASSED AT THE GENERAL MEETING           
Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 12 July 2007 and are advised
that due to delays at the Companies and Intellectual Property Office ("CIPRO")  
the special resolutions passed at the general meeting of Italtile shareholders  
on 12 July 2007 are pending registration by CIPRO. Accordingly, the salient     
times and dates relating to the corporate actions set out in the circular to    
shareholders dated 20 June 2007 will be revised. These revised salient dates and
times will be announced on SENS and in the press as soon as possible after the  
special resolutions have been registered.
