FINANCIAL DIRECTOR FUNCTION


Shareholders are referred to the announcement made on 23 September 2022 whereby shareholders
were advised that the executive director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company would step 
down with effect from 30 September 2022.


Shareholders are hereby advised that the Company, acting through its Human Capital Committee, has
commenced a process to recruit a new executive financial director and that shareholders will be 
advised of the progress in due course.


On an interim basis and until such time as a suitable candidate has been appointed, the current Chief
Transition Officer and acting Chief Executive Officer, Carl Neethling, in conjunction with the finance
team of the Company, will take responsibility for, and fulfil the functions of, the financial director. 
The Audit & Risk Committee of the Company is satisfied with the above interim arrangement.
