APPROVAL OF SEM FOR ASTORIA TO ISSUE SHARES

Shareholders are referred to the announcement published on SENS on 1 December 2020 (“Announcement”),
wherein they were advised that:

    - the Acquisition (as defined in the Announcement) was approved by the South African Reserve Bank on 27
        November 2020; and
    - a circular, containing further information relating to the Acquisition (“Circular”), which was approved by
        the SEM and the JSE, had been published on the websites of both Astoria and RAC at
        http://www.astoria.mu/publications/ and http://racltd.co.za/prospectus-and-circulars/.

Shareholders are further advised that the Listing Executive Committee of the SEM has granted its approval on 1
December 2020 for the issue and listing of 100 additional shares under the Acquisition.

This announcement is issued pursuant to SEM Listing Rules 11.3 and Rule 5(1) of the Securities (Disclosure
Obligations of Reporting Issuers) Rules 2007. The board of directors of Astoria accepts full responsibility for the
