TRADING STATEMENT

GPI is currently finalising its results for the year ended 30 June 2023, which will be published
on or about 27 September 2023.

In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a
trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the financial results for the
period to be reported on next will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.

The Company hereby advises that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that for the year
ended 30 June 2023:

    -   headline earnings per share for the Group will be between 2.24 cents and 2.88 cents,
        representing an improvement of between 170% and 190% compared to the headline
        loss per share for the group of 3.20 cents reported for the year ended 30 June 2022;
        and

    -   loss per share for the Group will be between 3.27 cents and 3.81 cents, representing
        a movement of between 20% and 40% compared to the loss per share for the Group
        of 2.73 cents reported for the year ended 30 June 2022.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by the auditor of the Company.
