CHANGE OF AUDITOR

The current financial year ending 31 August 2023 will be the tenth consecutive year that
Clicks Group’s auditor, Ernst & Young Inc., will perform the year end audit.

As the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors rule that provides that an audit firm
may not serve as the appointed auditor of a public interest entity for more than ten
consecutive financial years, Clicks Group has conducted a comprehensive tender
process. At the conclusion of this process, Clicks Group’s audit and risk committee
nominated KPMG Inc. for appointment as the external auditor of the company for the
financial year ending 31 August 2024, with Ivan Engels as the designated audit partner.

The appointment of KPMG Inc. will be proposed to shareholders at Clicks Group’s next
AGM, and the appointment (if approved) will be effective from the date of the 2024 AGM.
