1.   The Company was notified on 24 March 2016 that the independent Trustee of the British
     American Tobacco Group Employee Trust had on 23 March 2016 released the following
     number of British American Tobacco p.l.c. 25p ordinary shares (the “Shares”) granted to
     the following Executive Director and person discharging managerial responsibilities
     under the 2013 Long-Term Incentive Plan (“2013 LTIP”):
