TRP121 : NOTIFICATION OF ACQUISITION OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES


In compliance with Section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (“Act”) and
regulation 121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations 2011, shareholders are informed
that Sappi Ltd (“the Company”) received the following notification on 11 September 2015 :

-   acquisition of shares by Prudential Investment Managers (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd in
    aggregate on behalf of underlying clients, such that the total beneficial interest in the
    Company as at 11 September 2015 has increased to 10.02% of the issued capital of
    the Company.
