BOARD COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS

Further to the announcement released on SENS on 11 May 2021 and in accordance with
paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements the board of directors of Shoprite
Holdings (the “Board”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda de Beer and
Nonkululeko Gobodo as members of the Audit & Risk Committee of Shoprite Holdings with
effect from 11 May 2021.


The Board looks forward to their valued contribution to the Group in this regard.
