CHANGE TO INFORMATION IN DIRECTOR’S DECLARATION

In accordance with paragraph 3.60 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
Company hereby advises that certain information in the Schedule 13 director’s
declaration of Ms. Pheladi R. Gwangwa, a non-executive director of the Company
and chairperson of the social and ethics committee, and a non-executive director
of subsidiaries Clientèle Life Assurance Company Limited and Clientèle General
Insurance Limited, has changed in that a recent Supreme Court of Appeal
judgement has suspended Ms. Gwangwa and other directors and former directors of
law firm Chueu Incorporated Attorneys, for 6 months from practising as an
attorney, pending the finalisation of investigations into her and others'
conduct as directors of the said law firm, failing which the suspension will
lapse (Limpopo Provincial Council of the South African Legal Practice Council
v Chueu Incorporated Attorneys and Others (459/22) [2023] ZASCA 112 (26 July
2023) (“the Judgement”).

The Company will comply with all regulatory requirements in this regard
including, amongst others, informing the Prudential Authority of the Judgement
in terms of its obligations under the Insurance Act, 2017.
