RETRACTION AND REPLACEMENT OF ANNOUNCEMENT: DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY AN ASSOCIATE OF A DIRECTOR

1.     Shareholders are referred to the director’s dealings announcement released on the Stock
       Exchange News Services earlier today, wherein it was disclosed that Ian Moir had
       concluded transactions in relation to options sold and the corresponding WHL shares
       held.

       Shareholders are now advised that the conclusion of the transaction will only be effective
       14 October 2015 being the expiry date of the zero-cost collar hedging transaction entered
       into on 16 September 2014. Accordingly shareholders are advised to disregard the
       earlier announcement in relation to this transaction.
