Shareholders are advised that the Maputo Port Development Company (“MPDC”), in which Grindrod
holds an indirect 24.7% stake, has published a press release in Mozambique indicating that a new
handling record was achieved at Port of Maputo during 2022, with volume growth of 20% compared
to 2021. The total volume handled in 2022 was 26.7 million tons, against 22.2 million tons in 2021.
