DECLARATION OF PREFERENCE DIVIDEND NUMBER 33
Notice is hereby given that on Monday, 24 October 2022, Netcare declared a preference
dividend (Number 33) of 349.09932 cents (gross) per preference share for the period from
01 April 2022 to 30 September 2022, payable on Monday, 14 November 2022 to holders of
the preference shares recorded in the books of the Company at close of business on Friday,
11 November 2022. The preference dividend has been declared out of income reserves.
In compliance with the requirements of Strate, the following dates are applicable:
Last date to trade “cum” the preference dividend (“LDT”) : Tuesday, 08 November 2022
Date trading commences “ex” the preference dividend : Wednesday, 09 November 2022
Record date : Friday, 11 November 2022
Date of payment : Monday, 14 November 2022
Preference share certificates may not be dematerialised nor rematerialised between
Wednesday, 09 November 2022 and Friday, 11 November 2022, both dates inclusive.
In terms of the Dividends Tax, the following additional information is disclosed:
1. The local Dividend Tax rate is 20%;
2. The net local dividend amount is 279.27946 cents per preference share for shareholders
liable to pay the Dividends Tax and 349.09932 cents per preference share for
shareholders exempt from paying the Dividends Tax;
3. The issued preference share capital of Netcare is 6 500 000 preference shares as at the
date of declaration; and
4. Netcare’s tax reference number is 9999/581/71/4.
