CLOSURE OF OPERATIONS IN LATAM

Shareholders are advised that in response to instructions received from the Chilean Superintendency of
Gambling Casinos regarding the outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19, we will be closing all of our casinos in
Chile, along with the hotels and food and beverage operations from Wednesday, 18 March 2020 until
Sunday, 29 March 2020.

The relevant authorities have also closed our operations in Peru, Argentina, Colombia and Panama and at
this stage it is not certain when they will be allowed to reopen. The measures taken are in accordance
with the instructions of the pertinent authorities, in order to ensure the containment of the spread of the
virus. The authorities will continue to monitor the situation to determine when we will be permitted to
reopen.

Given the uncertainty regarding the duration of the closures, it is not possible at this stage to determine
their effect. Sun International continues to monitor the situation and will do everything it can to minimise
the cost of closure.

Shareholders will be kept apprised of developments.
