COMPLETION OF THE ACQUISITION OF DISTRIBUTION AND PROMOTION RIGHTS IN SOUTH AFRICA AND
CERTAIN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICAN COUNTRIES FROM LILLY

Shareholders are referred to the announcement of 30 August 2023 wherein it was confirmed that Aspen had
concluded an agreement with Eli Lilly Export S.A., a subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company (Lilly), in terms of
which Aspen will distribute and promote Lilly's products in South Africa and certain other Sub-Saharan African
countries (the "Territory" and the "Transaction").

Aspen is pleased to confirm that all conditions precedents have been fulfilled. In accordance with the agreed
terms, the Transaction will come into effect in South Africa, and other countries within the Southern African
Development Community, on 1 January 2024. In the balance of the Territory, the Transaction is anticipated
to become effective in the second quarter of calendar year 2024.
