CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders
are advised that Dr. Yoza Jekwa has resigned as independent non-executive director of the
Company with effect from 11 March 2021 and as a result will cease to be a member of the
audit and risk committee of the Company following that date.

Dr. Jekwa has been an extremely valued member of our board and has brought a wealth of
experience and expertise in key areas of our business.

As Joint MD of Mergence Investment Managers, growing time pressures of this role have led
to her decision to focus on this senior executive position.

The board of directors of Ascendis Health thanks Dr. Jekwa for her valuable contribution
during her tenure and wishes her well in her future endeavours.
