DEALING IN KAP SHARES BY ASSOCIATES OF A DIRECTOR

LeToit Trust, a family entity and associate of a director of KAP, Mr J de V du Toit, previously
indirectly held 540 368 ordinary shares in KAP. As part of the diversification of its financial
exposure, LeToit Trust has restructured its shareholding in KAP by transferring all KAP shares
held by it to an investor fund, Crest Qualified Investor Fund, which is also an associate of Mr Du
Toit, in exchange for units in that fund. As a result, LeToit Trust will continue to have an exposure
to 540 368 ordinary shares in KAP, albeit indirectly via the investor fund.

In compliance with paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
following information regarding the dealing in securities is disclosed:
