APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In accordance with the Listings Requirements of the Botswana Stock Exchange Limited, the Board of Directors of the
Company (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr. Andrew Dondo Mogajane (“Dondo”) has been
appointed in terms of the Company’s Constitution, as a non-executive director of Choppies with effect from 30 August
2023. Dondo’s appointment is subject to confirmation by the shareholders of the Company at its next annual general
meeting.

Dondo has a history in Public Policy and Public Management having worked as Deputy Director: Provincial Budget
Analysis- National Treasury of South Africa (NT), Deputy Director: Finance, Operations and Human Resource
Management- Environmental and Development Agency (EDA) Trust, Director: Provincial Budget Analysis- NT, Chief
Director: International Relations- NT, Senior Advisor- World Bank, Chief of Staff / Head of Ministry of the Ministry of
Finance, Acting Chief Operations Officer- NT, Deputy Director General: Public Finance- NT and Director General:
Public Finance- NT.

Dondo currently holds the following positions:
1. Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Government Employees
   Pension Fund (GEPF);
2. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Development Bank (BRICS Bank);
3. Chairman of the Board of the Pan African Infrastructure Development Fund (PAIDF);
3. Board member of the V&A Waterfront Holdings;
5. Board Member of Chapter Zero Southern Africa; and
7. Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Moti Group of Companies.
