RESIGNATION OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised that Dr Thabi Leoka has elected to resign as an independent non-executive
director with immediate effect. The Board of Directors (“Board”) has noted the conflict
presented by Dr Leoka’s future endeavours and has accepted her resignation.

The Board wishes to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr Leoka for her
contributions during her tenure and wish her well in her future endeavours.
