Investec Bank Limited (“Investec”), as Issuer of the above Equity Structured Product (ESP), hereby reminds holders of
their imminent option expiry on 23 April 2014 (see the related securities above).

In the event that the Put Strike Price of the Put exceeds the Final Reference Price on the Expiry Date, the Put Option
will be automatically exercised and the Holders will sell the Holder Underlying Securities to the Issuer, and the Put
Strike Price will automatically accrue to the Holder via instruction through STRATE on 02 May 2014.

In the event that the Final Reference Price exceeds the Put Strike Price on the Expiry Date the Put Option shall expire
out of the money, and Holders will be obliged to pay the Premium to the Issuer. The Issuer will sell so many of the
Holder Underlying Securities required to settle the Premium and the Holder will then be entitled to delivery of the
balance of the Holder Underlying Securities, through STRATE on 02 May 2014.

Each Holder may elect and request the Issuer to utilize the abovementioned settlement amount to reinvest into a new
quantity of ESPs (“the new ESP”). The terms and conditions of the new ESP series will be governed by a new Pricing
Supplement. Investec will, if so elected by the Holder, settle any amount due to Holder pursuant to the expiry of the
existing ESPs by allocation of new ESPs which will be listed on 02 May 2014.

Holders of ESPIBR will be notified on Friday, 24 April 2014, and to the extent applicable, the number of new ESPs that
will be allocated per each ESPIBR.
