DISCLOSURE OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES


In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (as amended) (the “Companies
Act”) and paragraph 3.83 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that City
Lodge has received formal notification in accordance with section 122(1) of the Companies Act, that clients
of Public Investment Corporation SOC Ltd (“PIC”) have, in aggregate, decreased their interest in the
securities of the Company, such that the total interest in the securities of the Company held by PIC, on
behalf of its clients, now amounts to 4.707% of the total number of securities in issue.

As required by section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, the Company has filed the required notices with
the Takeover Regulation Panel.
