DELAY IN THE PUBLICATION OF INTERIM FINANCIAL STATEMENTS


Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement released by the Company on Monday,
26 October 2020, wherein shareholders were advised to exercise caution when trading in CIG shares
due to continued uncertainty on the settlement of the debt restructure negotiations in respect of
Consolidated Power Projects Proprietary Limited (“CONCO”) and CIG and, as previously advised,
the impact thereof on the Group’s sustainability.

As a result of the ongoing debt restructuring negotiations, and the resultant impact on the Group’s
reporting, shareholders are advised that the release of CIG’s interim financial results for the six
months ended 30 June 2020 has been delayed.

A further announcement updating shareholders in this regard will be made in due course.
