The Company was notified on 6 October 2014 of the following changes in the interests in ordinary
shares of British American Tobacco p.l.c. in respect of the undermentioned executive director and
person discharging managerial responsibility (together the “Participants”) arising from the purchase
of ordinary shares at a price of 3,483.242 pence per ordinary share on 30 September 2014 through
the Company’s Dividend Reinvestment Plan (the “DRIP”):
