TRADING UPDATE
The Group’s trading activities for the five months ended February 2020 are slightly ahead of
expectations and the published outlook, with paid patient days (PPD’s) above 1% and PET-CT scan
volumes around 15% above the corresponding prior period.
There remains uncertainty around the impact of Coronavirus on the Group’s activities. The Group has
put a number of measures in place to monitor the situation and manage the associated risks.
The current results for the Group have been positively impacted by the disposal of Max Healthcare
(“Max disposal”) in H2 2019 benefitting from the interest cost saved due to the reduction of debt as well
as the inclusion of an option contract hedge loss in the corresponding prior period on the Max disposal,
which is non-recurring.
Further to the trading statement released on SENS on 21 November 2019, shareholders are advised
that a detailed trading statement for the six months ending 31 March 2020 will be released on SENS
on or about 17 April 2020.
The financial information on which this trading update is based has not been reviewed and reported on
by the Company’s external auditors.
