NAME CHANGE UPDATE

Shareholders are referred to the three announcements that had been released by the Company on
SENS on 21 October 2022, on 22 November 2022 and on 13 December 2022 in which the Company
announced a proposed change of the Company’s name to “KAP Limited” (“Name Change”).

The envisaged Name Change was approved by the requisite majority of shareholders at the
Company’s annual general meeting on 21 November 2022, subject to certain conditions, including the
approval of the name reservation by the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (“CIPC”).

Shareholders are advised that, following an order by the Companies Tribunal, the CIPC has registered
the change in KAP’s name. Accordingly, the name of the Company will change from “KAP Industrial
Holdings Limited” to “KAP Limited”, with the following details:

      -   the abbreviated name shall remain as: “KAP”;
      -   the JSE share code shall remain as: “KAP”;
      -   the ISIN number shall remain as: ZAE000171963;
      -   the sector of the Company shall remain as: “Industrials Sector“; and
      -   the Company will retain its shareholder register and its trading history.

In accordance with paragraph 11.36 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised to
take note of the following important dates in terms of the Name Change corporate action timetable:

    Last date to trade prior to the Name Change#                                  Monday, 3 April 2023
    Termination date for trading under the name of “KAP Industrial Holdings       Tuesday, 4 April 2023
    Limited” and commencement of trading under the name “KAP Limited”
    Record date for the Name Change                                               Thursday 6 April 2023

    CSDP/brokers will be updated with the new name

#Share certificates in the name of KAP Industrial Holdings Limited may not be dematerialised or
rematerialised after the last day to trade, being Monday, 3 April 2023.
