CHANGES TO THE BOARD

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of
directors of Master Drilling hereby notifies its shareholders of the following:

-   Gareth Robert Sheppard (Sheppard) has with effect from 24 March 2023 resigned as an executive
    director of the Company. His resignation is to enable him to devote a greater portion of his time and
    attention towards management of the Company’s international subsidiaries where he has and will
    continue to have responsibility and which account for a significant portion of the group’s activities.
    To this end Sheppard will continue to serve as a director of Master Drilling subsidiary Master Drilling
    International Limited. In addition, and with effect from Sheppard’s aforesaid resignation, he has
    been appointed as an alternate director to Daniel Coenraad Pretorius on the board of the Company.

-   Fred George Dixon, previously an alternate director to Sheppard, has been appointed as alternate
    director to Master Drilling executive director Barend Jacobus Jordaan on the board of the Company.

The board wishes to thank Sheppard for his valuable contribution to the board over many years, and
look forward to his continued involvement with Master Drilling Group
