CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS


In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of directors
of Ascendis Health (“the Board”) wishes to advise shareholders that Mr. Theunis de Bruyn (“Theunis”)
has been appointed a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 19 October 2022.


Theunis is an accomplished businessman and qualified chartered accountant. He is the founder and
managing director of Calibre Capital, a material shareholder in the Company, and he brings to the
Company a wealth of broad experience across a number of sectors and business disciplines, including
private equity, asset management and investment research. Theunis has been educated in South Africa
(University of Pretoria) and the United States of America (Harvard).


The Board congratulates and welcomes Theunis and looks forward to his contributions to the
Company.
