MINERALS RULE


AngloGold Ashanti plc (the "Company", "AGA" or "AngloGold Ashanti") announces that it has today, 29
May 2025, filed a Specialized Disclosure Report on Form SD with the U.S. Securities and Exchange
Commission ("SEC") in accordance with its SEC disclosure and reporting obligations. AngloGold Ashanti
conducted a reasonable country-of-origin determination as set out in the Form SD and concluded in good
faith that no gold or gold-bearing material used in the manufacturing process at its Queiroz Refinery, which
is part of the Queiroz Plant in Brazil, was sourced from the Democratic Republic of the Congo ("DRC") or its
adjoining countries during 2024. The Form SD also summarises the Company's conformance to the
requirements of the World Gold Council's Conflict-Free Gold Standard for the year ended 31 December 2024.
