Trading statement

In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are
reasonably certain that the financial results for the current
reporting period will be more than 20% different than those of the
prior comparative period.

In this regard, shareholders are referred to the announcement
released on 20 June 2022 advising shareholders that for the year
ended 30 June 2022 (“FY2022”) a reasonable degree of certainty
exists that earnings per share (“EPS”) and headline earnings per
share (“HEPS”) will show at least a 75% improvement compared to
the prior comparable period of 30 June 2021 (“FY2021”).

Shareholders are now advised that the Company expects to report:

•   basic and diluted EPS of between 9.5 cents and 19.1 cents,
    representing an increase in EPS of between 106% and 112%
    compared to EPS loss of 160.6 cents for FY2021; and

•   basic and diluted HEPS loss per share of between 11.4 cents
    and 5.9 cents, representing a reduction in HEPS loss of between
    87% and 93% compared to HEPS loss of 90.9 cents for FY2021.

Shareholders are advised that the financial information on which
this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported
on by the Company’s auditors.
